This rather interesting documentary series looks at the lives of the men executed in Kilmainham jail in the aftermath of the 1916 Easter Rising, and continues this week with the tale of Sean Heuston. Educated at the Christian Brothers before finding work as a railway clerk in Limerick, he was active in setting up Na Fianna and quickly became an officer before moving to Dublin and joining the Irish Volunteers and the IRB. After the Rising he was held in Richmond Barracks until he was transferred to Kilmainham and executed.
