In a move that surprises literally nobody, YouTube have decided to launch subscription based service that will see users avail of something pretty groundbreaking..

Yep. To be fair, we're actually a little surprised it's taken this long.
YouTube Red(because there's no other site with the words Tube and Red in it) will cost users $10(€8.85) a month, but will offer users a months worth of a free trial to begin with.
The service will launch in America on October 28th, and is expected to roll out over the rest of the world at some point in 2016.
As well as having no ads, YouTube red will also offer exclusive content for its users, and will allow you to save videos for offline use, like Spotify Premium.
