Reckon you're pretty enough to nab yourself a free meal? Well get thee to this restaurant in Zhengzhou, Henan in China and let them judge you for all you're worth.

According to Shanghaiist,  he restaurant's 'Pay By Face' promotion lets patrons scan their faces at special stations, with the images then being sent to a team of plastic surgeons who judge your looks while you dine. If you happen to be one of the top five highest scorers in a half hour, congrats, you eat free. If you don't, well you just have to pay for your meal in the knowledge that you're a munter.

Oh and the scores are displayed for all to see on the second floor of the restaurant, so you and everyone else can see where you fit into the scale. Which will just be great for your self-esteem.

Obviously you could beat the system by going with a load of ugly people to guarantee your free meal, but then you'd also have to deal with the fact that you're vain and scabby. But hey, a free meal's a free meal.
