After she found scratches all over the back door of her house, Lisa Mackenzie, from Bridgend, Wales decided to mount a camera to see what was causing them.
The resulting footage showed something that she hadn't been expecting, however, as when she watched it back she discovered the sinister truth.
The marks were the result of an attempted burglary during the night, and after the first attempt a month ago, another attempt was on Monday, which she spotted when reviewing the footage the following day.
Speaking to Wales Online, MacKenzie said "I was sick. I was shaking uncontrollably after watching the video". Police are asking for any information, while the video, which was posted on Facebook has already been viewed over 25,000 times.
