Donald Trump attracted the ire of rock icons Queen last week after his unauthorised use of their song 'We are the Champions' at the National Republican Convention.
However it's not the first time Trump has taken musicians songs for events without their permission. Nor is Trump alone in this bad practice. Ronald Regan was doing the same thing to Bruce Springsteen over thirty years ago.
John Oliver dedicated a segment to the issue on his show last night and it culminated in Usher, Cyndi Lauper, Sheryl Crow and others collaborating for their own song that sums up their feelings on the matter.
