As much as Storm Emma and the Beast from the East have been an inconvenience to those of us who live in Ireland, think of the poor tourists who are stranded without anything open to do, see, eat or drink in recent days.
This webcam view from Dublin's Temple Bar shows a very different proposition to the usual hustle and bustle of the capital's main tourism area. While some neighbourhood locals may have stayed open for a time last night, pretty much everywhere in the city centre seemed to have closed down.
You may be used to seeing people attempting to stand upright around those parts for different reasons, but today it looks like something from the apocalypse.
