Arcadia High School student Jacob Staudenmaier is not the first teenager to ask an A-list celebrity to Prom. But he definitely found the most creative way of doing it.
Jacob enlisted a gang of his friends in order to re-create the opening sequence of La La Land and use it as a way of asking Oscar winner, Emma Stone, to be his date to prom.
Aside from the video being awesome, Jacob has got a couple of other things going in his favour which he alludes to in the video. Firstly, the prom is taking place in Stone's home town of Scottsdale, Arizona and secondly, Jacob kind of looks like a young Ryan Gosling.

Whether Stone says yes or not, we doubt that we've heard the last of Jacob Staudenmaier.
