It's the show that no one asked for, that we'll all claim that we couldn't possibly watch, and yet...it's a dude getting eaten alive by a snake. We kind of have to watch that, right?
Paul Rosolie is the man in question who will be seeing what a snake is like on the inside, but before you start tuning in thinking you might see someone die in pursuit of great ratings, then hold your horses. The stunt has already been filmed and Rosolie survives, thanks to some form of special snake proof suit.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Rosolie liberally smeared himself in pig's blood so that the snake would actually eat him, and neither he nor the snake come off worse for wear, apparently. Still, we'll be watching, whilst simultaneously being disappointed in ourselves. Ah, the familiar feeling of shame and glee all at once.
