We're going to go all out and say this is fake for many reasons, but the main one being if a magpie can actually learn to mimic the sounds of a human child we're just never going to sleep again.
It has to be fake, and the fact that we never see the rest of the room where there could very well be a little girl laughing away at the sight of the magpie indoors is very suspect but imagine for a second a world where this is real. All of a sudden the terror of Hitchcock's 'The Birds' makes a lot more sense.
