If ever there was an indecipherable accent, this is it.
You can’t even concentrate on what the story is about – which is the disappearance of 60 sheep on Mount Brandon in Co. Kerry – because you’re trying to catch a word of what the interview subject is saying.
The segment appeared on RTÉ news Twitter yesterday and while you can just about make out what the second farmer, Richie Griffin, is saying, we defy anyone to comprehend Mikey Joe O'Shea:
Gardaí in Co Kerry are investigating the theft of up to 60 sheep on Mount Brandon pic.twitter.com/85bJRIGrsb

Tweeters were quick to respond:

@rtenews Couldn't understand a word either of them said. Feel sorry for tourists thinking of going on a trip where Kerryish isn't their 1st language…

There were also a number of obligatory puns, as ewe’d expect:
@neilhamilton93 @rtenews Latest reports suggest authorities have found a number of the stolen sheep, but nobody has been able to count them without falling asleep.
