Baseball in the head, baseball in the head!
One of the dangers of playing baseball is that you could, the odd time, get absolutely nailed with a very fast and very hard ball that would do some serious damage to you. That's what happened to pitcher Dan Jennings of the Miami Marlins last night as Jordy Mercer's line drive caught him square in the head in the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In the video, you can see his panicked reaction, as he stands straight back up only to realise that he's in a bad way. Team-mates and medical staff rush over to make sure he's ok, and there was no serious injury.
Apparently, he did suffer a concussion and thankfully nothing more sinister than that has been discovered yet, but we imagine he woke up with a serious bruise this morning.
