For anyone who's ever gone bowling before, you'll know how difficult it can be to get even one strike, never mind doing anything like this.
38-year-old Hakim Emmanuel, a regular bowler, had never bowled a perfect game, although he had come close before. With a score of 290, he would have been pretty disappointed that time to fall that little bit short, but he can put that to bed with this hugely impressive feat.
On Friday of last week at a bowling alley in Brockton, Massachusetts, Emmanuel hit what you might call a purple patch, and started to bowl like he never had before in his life, hitting strike after strike and eventually ending up with three perfect games in a row for a score of 900. The final three strikes were captured on video, once people realised he was pretty close to an amazing record.
While the score has to be verified, it would make him just the 27th person ever with a United States Bowling Congress-approved 900 series, according to Bleacher Report. We can only presume the celebrations looked something like this.
