An impressive reminder that Mother Nature is pretty amazing.

The folks at Basehutners spend their days searching out the most severe and unbelievable weather to capture some stunning footage, and over the weekend they managed to capture this amazing timelapse of a supercell thunderstorm over Wyoming.

According to IFL Science, a supercell thunderstorm is one of the rarer events for meteorologists, but they bring with them violent tornadoes, torrential rain, hailstones and all sorts of stuff that in general sounds pretty unpleasant. We call it summer here in Ireland.

You can check out a few more photos of the storm on the Basehunters Facebook page, they're some pretty spectacular images.
