Think you've mastered parallel parking? Well think again.
Reversing into a tricky space is one thing, but British stunt driver Alastair Moffatt has a taken it to a whole new level. Yesterday was "Guinness World Record Day" and Moffatt used the occasion to attempt to break the record for the "Tightest parallel parking in reverse". As you can see from the video below, he nailed it.
Rather than take his time, making full use of his wing mirrors and occasionally shouting at his partner to "look behind you there and see if I've any more space", Moffatt has created his own technique. He reverses as fast as he possibly can at the space and throws out a casual 270 degree turn before coming to a perfect stop in the tiny gap.
He only had a mere 34cm of combined space to spare either side of his bumpers. Which is just over the length of a 12 inch ruler!
