Here's something you might not have known before a tweet about the topic went viral the other day: the Teletubbies are incredibly freaky in black and white. 

Think about it, these were some weird looking creatures, and if you remove all the bright colours and add a Joy Division track over the top, things get weird pretty fast, which is exactly what Christopher G. Brown did in this video. 

The idea came to him after a tweet from Mark Holland, who pointed out that the Teletubbies had an all together more sinister vibe when they were in black and white. 

As if that weren't enough to convince you, then there's a whole video of them doing whatever it is that they did on a day to day basis (something to do with living underground with a hoover?) but this time in a spooky and white setting.

We're talking about a show where the sun had a baby's face in it, frankly it was weird in colour too.
