If you weren't aware, yesterday was official 'Mean Girls Day' on the internet (thanks to one random throwaway gag in the movie) and some of the film's stars used it as an opportunity to raise funds for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting.
Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese and Jonathan Bennett joined forced and set up a GoFundMe page, asking fans to honour 'Mean Girls Day' by donating $3 to the National Compassion Fund, a program in the National Center for Victims of Crime, with the hopes of raising $300,000 for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.
Per the page, "Do something grool today. Let's hit this goal together. We might not make fetch happen, but we can make this happen."
As of this morning, the page had raised $60k.
