We all know that we are a hell of a lot more likely to meet our maker in pretty much every other form of transport other than an airplane but it's still difficult not to feel nervous if there's even the tiniest bit of turbulence.
So we can only imagine how the passengers on this KLM Asia flight must have felt over the weekend as strong winds rocked the plane visibly from side to side as it approached the runway.
It looked almost certain it would crash but thanks to the efforts of the pilot - the plane and everyone in it landed in one piece, albeit pretty shaken up no doubt.
