By now, you may have already seen this video of a child carrying a speaker through Ballyfermot blasting out Vengaboys' seminal 1999 dancefloor filler, Boom Boom Boom.

The video, in all its thirty-odd second glory, shows a trio of children enjoying the song via a portable speaker and has become an internet sensation since it was posted on Twitter.

In the space of just twenty-four hours, the video has been retweeted 15,000 times and shared by the likes of Lily Allen and others.

 

Truly, Ballyfermot is a different world altogether.
