Everyone is appreciating Obama a lot more in the madness of the run-up to this year’s US presidential election. And with good reason – the man is a legend and this collaboration with talk show host Stephen Colbert just reaffirms that.
After announcing that he will be hosting a live election night special, Colbert showed audiences a video of him having a frank chat with Barack Obama about what he plans to work next.
Dressed as ‘office manager Randy’, Colbert asks Obama questions to help him prepare for future job interviews.
Among the questions, he asks why Barack has not had a promotion in eight years. The President explains that there was no room for advancement in his last job and says ‘the only one with a more powerful position was my wife.’
Obama talks about the accomplishments of his presidency as ‘job qualifications.’ He is also more than happy to poke a little fun at himself.
