Artist Kyle McDonald teamed up with Spotify for this pretty awesome app/visualisation/experiment that is some part scary but also mind blowing.
Over one hour of one day, they recorded every time two people hit play on the same song at the exact same time and pinpointed their location in the world, and then cobbled all that info together into one awesome watch called Serendipity which you can watch here.
Turns out that every second there are at least ten pairs of people who start listening to the same song within a tenth of a second of each other, which is pretty mental but that's just statistics innit? Now all they have to do is combine it with Tinder and Netflix to find everyone's soulmate. And then world peace, yes?
