Dior have been teasing the world and more particularly Robert Pattinson fans ever since they unveiled R-Patz as the new face of their Dior Homme fragrance in June. So far we've had a few sneaky photos and a short clip of the campaign, but now German website Tush Online and Dior have released their official 'trailer' for the campaign, and in keeping with the theme, it's very arty altogether.

Occasionally featuring a beautiful lady but mostly featuring a very darkly lit and distant Pattinson with Manhattan in the background, the eerie black and white video is mostly made up of still shots by Nan Goldin being filmed in slides similar to those in a View-Master (remember those?) with the sound of New York City playing away in the background. Apparently the film maker Heidi Xandt the camera was custom built and live filmed doing its shutter thing on the streets of the Big Apple. Hopefully they just customised the old toy, because any other expense was really a waste.

Pattinson was reportedly paid $12 million for Dior's campaign, which officially kicks off in October.

Robert has also once again confirmed his hatred of the nickname R-Patz, saying he'd 'like to strangle the guy who came up with it' in the German edition of Interview Magazine, having previously said 'I don’t understand what the nickname culture is. If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it’d be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet.'

Okay, we'll stop calling him that now, in case we ever meet him and he thinks it was us.
