Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin of the Seattle Seahawks are likely in a whole pile of trouble with the NFL after this stunt at a recent press conference.
Last week, their team-mate Marshawn Lynch was hit with a hefty $100,000 fine for not talking to the media after the game, and it seems that his team-mates were pretty cheesed off about that.
In response, Sherman and Baldwin decided that they would talk to the media, and possibly talk a little bit too much for the NFL's liking. They talked about everything from forcing players to play two games in five days, even though the NFL say that player safety is one of their highest priorities, and also mentioned almost every big NFL sponsor in the space of the two minute rant in an incredibly sarcastic way. Can't beat that Campbell's soup...
Something tells us that they will get hit with a pretty big fine, but how will the NFL justify fining these guys for talking to the media after fining Lynch for not talking? Either way, it's yet another headache for the league front office after an incredibly bad start to the year from a PR standpoint.
