Making drones learn how to avoid obstacles seems like a good idea in principle, but also seems like a great way for them to slowly learn how to avoid being deactivated and begin to enslave mankind.
Researchers at Stanford University's Autonomous Systems Laboratory have been figuring out ways to make drones better at avoiding things that will cause them to crash and decided to test it out the only way the entitled upper classes of Stanford would allow - fencing.
This plus the chainsaw that the Finnish have attached to a drone spells the end for all us.
