OBVIOUSLY Sacha Baron Cohen's latest character, Nobby, is based on Liam Gallagher, it just hasn't really been properly addressed until now.
Cohen has been busy promoting his new film stateside this week (here he is enjoying "movie night" with the Kardashians and Courteney Cox...), and - last night - he found himself on Conan, talking about the physical similarities between Nobby and Liam Gallagher, before recounting a story involving the time Liam threatened to stab him while they were both sat beside Bono. True story.
It all kicked off at the GQ Awards some years back, when an inebriated Liam repeatedly asked Cohen 'Who is the greatest living rockstar?" Given he was sat beside Bono, it was always going to be a tricky situation - made trickier by the fact Liam finally said "The greatest living rockstar is John Lennon"...
