After the success of the Ice Bucket Challenge, a few other people have been inspired to try and start a new movement to raise awareness about the situation in Gaza.

While the Ice Bucket challenge has been a huge viral sensation, and apparently boosted sales of bags of ice by up to 200% round these parts, other movements are looking to do something similar to see if they can take over the internet too and get some attention for their cause.

The Rubble Bucket Challenge is a new initiative that seems to have taken off in the last few days, and it's intended to raise awareness of the situation in Palestine at the moment, gathering a lot of support on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

It all started with a Palestinian journalist, Ayman al Aloul, who wanted to make the point that it was not justifiable to waste water by pouring it over his head in a situation like that which is currently taking place in Gaza, and that his hope was not for donations, but for people to show their solidarity and support for Gaza.

The hashtags #RemainsBucketChallenge #rubblebucketchallenge and #dustbucketchallenge have been used by those who have partaken in the challenge so far.
