Republic of Ireland Assistant Manager Roy Keane treated former Wales legend Ryan Giggs like a bold school boy after that latter taunted Ireland on ITV last night.
The duo were part of the panel offering analysis on the Euro 2016 semi-final between Portugal and Wales when the host asked Giggs about his thoughts on Wales upcoming World Cup 2018 Qualifying Campaign. Wales are in a group that contains the Republic of Ireland, Serbia, Moldova, Georgia and Austria.
Giggs mischievously noted that it was a 'nice, easy group' before flashing a cheeky grin at his old Manchester United captain Keane. Roy responded with a slap reminiscent of a headmaster correcting a bold schoolboy for slagging him off.
The first shots have been fired!
The Republic of Ireland will host Wales in the Aviva Stadium on the 24th March 2017, while the return leg will be played on October 9th in what could decide either team's qualification hopes.
