Well that's our morning cry sorted for today anyway.
The world woke up to good news for a change this morning after the Australian parliament, following on from the national vote earlier this month, voted overwhelmingly in favour of legalising same-sex marriage.
Both the moment the vote was carried and the aftermath were caught on video and there were emotional scenes as decades of campaigning paid off.

But it was when the public gallery erupted into a chorus of 'I Am Australian' after the vote that really defined the moment.

And obviously, people are feeling quite a lot of feelings about it.

Australians erupt into song as marriage equality becomes law:
"We are one, but we are many,
And from all the lands on earth we come,
We'll share a dream and sing with one voice:
'I am, you are, we are Australian.'" https://t.co/IsePWEmSK0— Ben Winsor (@BenBWinsor) December 7, 2017
