These two parents from Argentina tried to prank their son, hoping that he'd have a fit when they gave him a rubbish present. He surprised them, big time.
You should never really mess with someone on their birthday, it's the one day that it should be forbidden so that they can just enjoy themselves without fear of being pranked. The other 364 days, including Christmas, are fine, but not the birthday.
That's a lesson these two parents in Argentina never learned, it would seem, as they tried to get a reaction out of their son by giving him a wooden cutting board for his birthday. Not the greatest gift, as it suggests that he should be doing more of the cooking, and in our opinion he looks a bit young to be wielding a sharp knife.
Anyway, the kid opens the present, which is obviously not great, and reads the note from his parents, telling him that he can use the board with his knife to cut his meat. He comments that all he needs now is a fork, and hugs his parents for the gift.
But he's not finished yet, not by a long shot, because the next gift, the real gift, is another prank, but this time a good one. This one comes with a note too, in a shoe-shaped box, that says that he won't have to use glue any longer to repair his old shoes, which he reads before he opens it up. He seems very happy with this, but when he gets it open, there's a tablet inside. His reaction is even better this time.
What a champ, and confirmation, if needed, that they've raised him pretty damn well.
