As well as winning silver for Ireland in the Rio Olympics, Paul and Gary O'Donovan can now add viral sensations to their list of accolades.
Their interview with RTE shortly after their second-place finish in the Men's Lightweight Double Sculls has now gone viral as someone posted said interview to Reddit. The video has, in the space of nine hours, amassed over 24,000 views and is currently sitting on the front page of Reddit.
However, for those who aren't from deep Skibbereen (read: everyone), their accent proved more than a little challenging. In fact, it actually needed a translation in order for people to understand what was going on. Right underneath the now-viral video sits an actual transcript of the interview for people to follow along with.
