Not like Scanners, head-blown-up kind of thing. Just, y'know, angry.
There really is nothing stranger than seeing what is normally a calm and collected person going incandescent with rage and frustration - and that's pretty much what happened with MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell.
Footage leaked online last night of the anchor getting progressively angrier with control room staff, and shouting about noises coming from out the studio as the broadcast is happening live and between ads and cutaways. It can be pretty stressful, no doubt, to take on live television - especially when nothing's going the right way.
Take a look.
Since the video was released, O'Donnell has publicly apologised for his comments and actions, saying that "(a) better anchorman and a better person would’ve had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I’m sorry."
