As you may have head, the sad death of Irish comedian Sean Hughes at the age of just 51 was announced yesterday.
Many of his fellow comics have been paying tribute to him on social media, but there's one video that's particularly poignant.
One of Hughes's most popular roles was as team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (back when it used to be good), that shows just what a funny man he really was.
If you have a spare 11 minutes of your day, this will cheer you up.
RIP.
Very sad to hear about Sean Hughes. Started on the circuit with him back in the day. RIP.

Irish comedy in the 1990s. Linehan and Mathews were Lennon and McCartney to me. D'Unbelievables were the Kinks. But Sean Hughes was Elvis.

Used to think Sean Hughes was a God when I brought him on at The Empire. He was. Inspired all us Irish comics to go chase bigger dreams. RIP

So sad to hear of Sean Hughes death. He was the first comic I ever saw live. A very funny man. Awful news.

Sean Hughes was one of the best comics of our generation, and someone I spent formative days with. I can't really believe he's dead at 51.

Sean Hughes with Linda Smith, Felix Dexter, Caroline Ahearne, and Malcolm Hardee as compere. That is a fantastic bill we’ve lost too soon.
