In terms of overcompensating for nerves, this horse went all in.
Commando (Cody for short) the horse is four-years-old and only learning the ropes of jumping gates and fences and encountered his first (admittedly tiny) ditch while training last week. His reaction to it was, to say the very least, enthusiastic. Props to the trainer for sticking the landing because that could have gone horribly wrong.
Cody was definitely a cat in a previous life.
Cody - Commando - Holsteiner - schooled the beginner novice fences with my trainer, Rose riding and Kate Chadderton giving a lesson. This is what he thought of the ditch! Kudos to Rose for sticking it.
