It all started out as a conversation about being half-American, half-Canadian on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Talk show host Kimmel brought up the fact that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Perry were in school at the same time.
Perry responds, “I’ve a story about him that I’m not proud of” and he recounts the story explaining he acted out of “pure jealousy.” “I think he said, ‘I’m going to rise above this and become prime minister,’” he explains.
