We suppose if you're going to try and sneak on to Jimmy Kimmel as Tom Brady and you have the costume lying around, you may as well try the night after the Super Bowl.

Kimmel's best frenemy Matt Damon has infamously been trying to make it onto the show for years and last night the running joke appears to have come to an end. We say "appears" because Kimmel is disputing the appearance due to the lack of a sofa for Damon and the fact that he had to sneak on as someone else to be there.

To that we say, enough. Come on Jimmy, the world is burning. Give the man, and the rest of us, the win.

And in case you were wondering, yes, he was very excited about it.
