How we love Liam Neeson.
In a recent interview for his next movie, The Commuter, the Irish actor was asked for his thoughts on the increased discussion around equal pay in Hollywood.
Naturally, only one phrase could describe it and Neeson said it all in two words: “f---ing disgraceful.”
He referred to the discussion as “healthy and necessary” and seemed optimistic as he continued: “We’re starting, and it’s starting with these extraordinary actresses and brave ladies. We, as men, have got to be part of it, you know? We started it, so we have to be part of the solution.”
However, Neeson, like the cheeky Irishman he is, indicated that he wouldn’t be taking it too far now, as when he was asked if he would take a “pay cut to kind of equal things out,” himself, he replied, “No. Pay cut? No, no, no, no. That’s going too far. No, there has to be parity. There just has to be.”
