Infrastructure isn't the world's most interesting topic, but it is important business.
It deals with pretty much everything that we depend on, from roads to power grids, and that means that maintaining it and keeping it in top shape is pretty important. John Oliver knows this, and so do politicians, but they insist on telling us that it's "not sexy". Depends on the size of the dam, we suppose.
Anyway, on his show last night, he started talking about infrastructure and the fact that a lot of the country's dams, bridges and roads are in disrepair, and no one is really looking at it. But he's got a solution: make a big, sexy Hollywood action movie, starring Edward Norton and Steve Buscemi, of course. The kids love big action blockbusters.
