You have to really feel for stars sometimes. For every glitzy award show, there is a cookery segment in a foreign language that leaves you feeling a bit of an eejit.
Someone in the Southpaw PR department saw fit to have its star partake in such a cookery segment, as opposed to being interviewed about how he didn't use a stunt double in any of his scenes. Perhaps they're trying to widen their potential audience base, but really they're just falling in between two stools.
In saying that, however, I would watch anything with Jake Gyllenhaal. ANYTHING. And there are lines like "are you ready to get dirty?" and "you gotta feel it!" which everyone will appreciate. And then there's some mild assault, but everyone's laughing so I'm sure Jake was fine with it...
