We're good at complaining when there's a hint of cold in the air, but can you imagine if it ever got so cold in Ireland that we couldn't leave our houses? We'd go insane from the constant repetitions of "Jaysis, it's so cold" every five minutes.
Over in Chicago (or Chiberia as they're now calling it) however, they're staying indoors as it's gotten so cold people are getting frostbite through their clothes and documenting how unbelievably cold it is. Exhibit A? Bottles of water freezing on contact with the air. Makes our 8°C look balmy by comparison.
