David Simon's gritty portrayal of life in Baltimore and the effect of drugs on the inner city there is one of the greatest TV shows ever made, and while it shouldn't come as a surprise, Obama is clearly a fan.
It can be easy to forget that politicians are real people too, but Obama has done a good job of being a bit more relatable to all of us thanks to some pretty smart media appearances from both him and his wife/FLOTUS Michelle.
The latest in that collection is this clip of him in conversation with the creator of The Wire David Simon, and the two get pretty in depth about the show, given that it was based on a lot of what Simon experienced living in Baltimore, a city plagued by drugs and one of the front lines in the war on drugs.
So, now you don't need to feel so bad about your binge-watching of your favourite box set, even the President of the United States does it.
