A terrifying and gripping video has emerged of an incident that took place in a hotel lobby.
Ben Duke, a manager of The Roadway Inn in Greenville, South Carolina, was near the hotel's elevator when a guest boarded holding his dog's leash. However, the elevator doors closed with the dog, named Boo Boo, outside.
In seconds, the elevator started to go up with the dog was being pulled by its leash alongside it.
Duke leapt into action trying to break the dog’s leash as the pup was being dragged up the elevator door.
Thankfully, the story had a happy ending:
Reportedly, the dog was totally unharmed, (although Duke got a few scratches from the dog) and when the owner came running down the stairs a few seconds later, he cried and hugged Duke in thanks.
