Halo is making the leap from the small screen to...well the small screen, but in a different way.
Allow us to explain; the hugely popular video game franchise is getting a TV series that promises to be the next chapter in the "epic" Halo saga, and it's produced by Ridley Scott. This trailer is the first look at the series (although there was a tease back in July) and if this is anything to go by we're in for a dark and grim journey with plenty of action along the way.
It focuses on Agent Jameson Locke (Mike Colter) who is in charge of a team that needs to find out how a biological weapon that kills only humans has come into existence.
Locke will be a playable character in Halo 5 while Halo: Nightfall will see the light of day in November in the Master Chief Collection.
