Now that the thaw is finally beginning to wash out some of the snow, things are thankfully returning to normal for most people - and animals, too.
Dublin Zoo has been updating its Twitter account all during the snow storms and letting people know how the inhabitants have been adjusting to weather. Some, like the Humboldt penguins, are well able for the weather and are taking to it like, well, penguins to snow.
Take a look.

Others, such as Max the Siberian Tiger, Yasmina the Red Panda, and Qiemo the Snow Leopard, are enjoying the inclement weather and are getting regular food and drink as they need, and are keeping warm from the cold snap.

Dublin Zoo is, unfortunately, still closed for the weekend - but hopefully should reopen at the beginning of the week, provided the weather continues to clear.
