For all you cyclists out there that complain about pedestrians cutting across you on your morning commute, we want you to know it could be worse. Much worse.
Be grateful that it's not a bear that runs out in front of you when you're moving at speed. Such was the case for Davis Souza who crashed right into a bear while biking down the Mills Peak trail near Lake Tahoe in California.
Davis was turning a corner at a point in the path that was shaded, making it harder spot the bear who looked to be and adolescent rather than fully grown from our untrained eye.
Luckily for Davis, the bear didn't stick around long enough for him to find out for sure either as it was gone by the time he got back on his feet.
