We say 'swore' because it's not actually something we'd consider swearing but then we're not on morning television (and we're beginning to see how those two things could be connected).
Mirren was on Good Morning Britain today talking to presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard when she got around to a story about camping with Liam Neeson and told them how it 'pissed' the whole time, which apparently is a breakfast TV no-no.
Even the Queen swears live on tv sometimes!! @GMB @benshephard @kategarraway #HelenMirren pic.twitter.com/4FXOw4K73m

All the people watching at home however were very much on Team Mirren.
Helen Mirren got told off for saying "it pissed it down" on Good Morning Britain. Is pissing REALLY swearing though? It's "ITV" swearing.

Helen Mirren's saying "pissed" on Morning TV is the LEAST of the world's problems.

Dame Helen Mirren has to be careful - she'll get the Shaun Ryder treatment - No live TV in case she swears!! Lol @GMB

The Good Morning Britain team were quick to apologise although it hardly feels warranted. If the Queen says 'pissed' on TV, it's legal for everyone. That's how it works right?
If anything, that little mishap got you all giggling on this chilly morning! 🙊 #HelenMirren https://t.co/9sTOQpgBNE pic.twitter.com/rzrZ9mqF04
