This is a case of literally adding insult to injury. 

Rory McIlroy sustained a nasty-sounding injury on the weekend playing football which could well result in him missing the British Open as well as some other major tournaments down the line, and people have since been tweeting him messages of support and wishing him a speedy recovery. 

Well, everyone except those at Fox News, who it seems are not his biggest fans as one of their presenters stated that she "can't stand him" and he's a "leprechaun". 

So, that's Rory doing an interview with Fox ever again out of the question...
