You're standing on the platform, waiting for the next train to arrive. You look around, you stare into your phone before you realise you have no credit, you look up and there's a small crowd of Icelanders forming. Then this shit comes out of their mouth and you're transported to an ancient land with trees that can talk and Ian McKellen is your best friend who leads you through open plains and mountains to fight a dragon. That's what good music can do.
The choir group Arstioir did a little impromptu flash-mob thing in a German train station last year, because train stations have great acoustics apparently. Even on a crappy potato-phone camera with a shitty mic, it still sounds incredibly beautiful and genuinely haunting.
