Moments after this was shot, McGregor knocked out opponent Dustin Poirier in 106 seconds.
Conor McGregor has been hailed by some as one of the most exciting strikers to emerge in the world of mixed martial arts in years and judging by this footage, it's easy to see why.
Footage of McGregor sparring with training partner Artem Lobov under the watchful eye of his coach John Kavanagh shows exactly how "in the zone" McGregor was prior to his bout - and we especially like his reverse kick to the shin at the 32 second mark.
What's next for the Dubliner? All eyes will be on the upcoming featherweight title clash between champion Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes in a couple of weeks as that should shed some light on exactly how the division is taking shape. McGregor has recently spoke about wanting to take another contest as soon as possible, with talk of a showdown with German kickboxer Dennis Siver mooted.
Either way we see McGregor fighting for the title, possibly next summer, and wouldn't it be amazing to have that at the Aviva stadium? It's not outside the realm of possibility.
