Ellen is back on the air this week after her summer hiatus and as well as entertaining us with ice bucket challenges with Kim Kardashian and the like, she also felt the need to acknowledge the passing of two great comedy legends while the show was off.

Joan Rivers is given the nod first,  but this is really all about Robin Williams, who appeared on Ellen's show numerous times down the years, and never failed to entertain.

Yes, it's been over a month now since he has passed, and plenty has happened in the world and all our lives since, but it's good to still take the time to remember this utter legend, that honestly, we still can't believe has really left this mortal coil.
