General made his escape from Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital on Sunday while it was closed for the night and security cameras from the facility show him opening several doors in his bid for freedom.
His great prison break sparked concern from the hospital who put out a public call for him on Facebook, saying: "Last night at 4 a.m., one of our boarders opened his run door, and managed to open the back door to the clinic to escape."
Local Animal Control, sheriff's deputies and animal hospital staffers were all searching for him before General was found on Monday evening resting in a neighbour's yard, no doubt basking in his freedom and wondering what challenge us puny humans will set for him next.
