Good pizza can be the best thing ever, but is it worth burning down a house to get at?
We don't think so. No pizza is THAT good. However, for one black Labrador, it was. The dog, called Brookfield, attempted to get himself a slice of pizza and inadvertently caused a small fire in the home of his owners.
From a security camera in the home, you can see Brookfield mounting the stove to get at the pizza slice and somehow manages to turn on one of the hobs. Sure enough, he's too pizza chowing down on that sweet cheesy goodness and fails to recognise that he's caused a fire.
As it turned out, the owners were in the home at the time and quickly put the fire out. However, others haven't been so lucky. Statistics show that approximately 700 fires are caused each year in the US by pets.
So if you're leaving food out, don't leave it anywhere where dogs can, y'know, set your house on fire. Just a tip, really.
